Mailbox Break-ins (September 2023): Several cluster box units were vandalized recently. All mail from the affected units is being held at the Andersen Springs Post Office, 1900 W Carla Vista Drive, Chandler, until the new units are installed. The postal service began installing the new, more secure, cluster boxes on Thursday, September 21st. Homeowners of those boxes need to go to the Andersen Springs post office to pick up new mailbox keys.

Vandalizing a cluster box is a federal crime. If you witnessed the vandalism or if you have video footage from any outdoor cameras, please contact the Chandler police department and the Post Office. Signs will be installed stating these cluster boxes are under video surveillance, since most are within range of doorbell cameras.

Gates Installed Along Canal (September 2023): The neighborhood of Tuscany recently requested that SRP install gates along the canal bordering Ray Ranch to minimize the dust from motorized vehicles driving along the canal. There is ample room to walk around the gates to allow pedestrians to enjoy the walk from Kyrene to Ray along the canal. Ray Ranch is working with SRP to gain access for our landscapers to maintain the trees and plants on the east side of the wall.

The City of Chandler is still moving ahead with plans to create the Canal Shared Use Path, so these gates will be adjusted. Residents may notice some standing water, as they work to fix the leaks throughout the greenbelt. One pine Tree was taken out because it was impacting the growth of a stronger tree.

Short Term Rental Information (February 2023): The City of Chandler has passed ordinances regarding Short Term Rentals to protect the health, safety, and welfare of residents of and visitors. Ray Ranch property owners must abide by these ordinances.

Of extreme importance is the registration requirement and a valid transaction privilege tax license in order to offer a short term rental. An additional operating requirement states that the person on the registration must be available either in person or by telephone within sixty (60) minutes after receiving a request by a Police Officer or City Code Inspector. The Ray Ranch HOA is consulting its attorney to amend the CC&Rs in order to provide clarity for homeowners.
